Dr. Adamantini Peratikou received the BSc degree in computing the postgraduate degree in technology,
and a PhD in Computing in the subject area of Parallel processing and optimization algorithms from the
University of Portsmouth. She is currently a member of Cybersecurity and Telecommunication Research
Lab (CTRL) of the Open University of Cyprus. She is also a member of BSC (British society of Computing)
and IEEE. Her PhD thesis focused on generalization and optimization of fat tree classes, by proposing an
architecture that provides a flexible solution for building extremely large-scale parallel systems. She was
a part-time lecturer at University of Portsmouth, in the area of networks and programming. Adamantini
has more than 8 years’ teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University
of Portsmouth and as an adjunct lecturer at the Open University of Cyprus. She has published several
papers in international peer-reviewed conferences and journals and has served as a technical program
committee reviewer in international conferences. Her research focuses on contributing to the
strengthening of the Cyber Security Ecosystem. She is currently working on various funded projects in
the field of cybersecurity.

Dr. Alexander Mikroyannidis is a Research Fellow in the Knowledge Media Institute of The Open University. He holds a Ph.D. in Informatics from Manchester Business School, an M.Phil. in Computation from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), and a B.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece. He has more than 10 years of research experience in the field of Technology-Enhanced Learning and specifically in personalised learning, self-regulated learning, lifelong learning, open educational resources and rich interactive learning materials, as well as applications of blockchain technology in education. He is the author of over 100 articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals, conferences and books. He has been awarded and worked on a wide range of European and nationally funded research projects, notably QualiChain, DEL4ALL, OpenLang Network, Open Networking Lab, Institute of Coding, SlideWiki, EDSA, HUB4NGI, FORGE, weSPOT, EUCLID, ROLE, OpenScout, CASPAR, and PARMENIDES.

Professor Anastasios A. Economides is the Director of SMILE (Smart & Mobile Interactive Learning Environments, http://smile.uom.gr) lab at the University of Macedonia (UoM, http://www.uom.gr), Thessaloniki, Greece. He has a M.Sc. (1987) and a Ph.D. (1990) degree in Computer Engineering, University of Southern California, Los Angeles. His research interests include mobile, adaptive, personalized, collaborative learning & assessment, as well as user experience & acceptance of smart IoT systems & services. He has published two (2) books, more than one hundred (100+) peer-reviewed journal papers, one hundred fifty (150+) peer-reviewed conference papers, and twenty (20+) peer-reviewed chapter books. Antri Avraamidou holds a BA in Educational Sciences (University of Cyprus), an MA in ICT and Education (University of Leeds, UK) and a PhD in the area of Mathematics Learning and Digital Games (University of Leeds, UK). She currently works at the Laboratory of Educational Material and Methodology of the Open University of Cyprus and has previously worked as a teacher in elementary schools, as a research associate at Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, as an instructional/learning designer at CARDET and as an adjunct faculty (Tutor) in Educational Technology at the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). She has participated in European Union-funded projects through which she has expanded her level of expertise on ICT and education, in-service teacher ICT training, visualised learning design methodologies, instructional design and the use of ePortfolio and eAssessment. In addition, she has published a number of journal articles on visualised learning design and on mathematics and gameplay.

Efi Nisiforou is a Lecturer in Distance Education, in the School of Education, University of Nicosia. Her research interests include human-computer interaction (HCI), technology-enhanced learning (TEL), instructional design and evaluation of online learning environments, personalised learning and educational neuroscience and, integration of new technologies in all levels of education. As a researcher, she has published papers in international conferences and journals and has received EU research funding. She also participates as a project manager, coordinator and national partner in various research projects.

Athina Konstantinidou is an EFL teacher, with a BA in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During her studies, she participated in Erasmus+ programs in Hungary and Spain, with full scholarships as a student and intern. She is currently a Master’s student in Educational Technology, at University of Nicosia.

Christos Rodosthenous is a Ph.D. candidate at the Open University of Cyprus (OUC). His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Commonsense Knowledge Acquisition and reasoning, Natural Language Understanding, Story Understanding, Crowdsourcing, eLearning and new technologies and Trends in distance education.

Currently, he works at the Information Systems and Technology Services of the Cyprus University of Technology. He previously worked at the eLearning and Digital Content Management Sector at the Open University of Cyprus and the Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus”. He is involved in numerous National and European projects involving eLearning technologies, distance education, Web Portals, Digital repositories, Open Access and Open Data initiatives.

He is an advocate of Free and Open source software and actively participates in many actions for promoting its usage in the public sector.

After starting his young career in his homeland of Canada, working for the national sport federations of gymnastics and basketball, Dillon hopped across the pond to Germany for a new adventure with the International Paralympic Committee and the international sport federation of World Para Powerlifting.
At 29 years old, in his role as Performance and Development Manager, Dillon is responsible to grow the sport in different areas and deliver programmes to engage to athletes, coaches and referees from 130+ member countries around the globe.
With his academic background in Physical & Health Education and Sport Management, Dillon takes inspiration from different fields to implement innovative projects to get more people with a disability practising sport. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, he was the lead behind becoming the first Paralympic sport to launch an online competition.

Dr. Maria Perifanou is an adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Italian Language & Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an adjunct academic staff at Hellenic Open University, TESOL Master's Programme, and a senior researcher at the Smart and Mobile Learning Environments (SMILE) Lab of the University of Macedonia (GR) in the field of CALL and TEL. She holds a Master's degree in ICT and Foreign Language Education from Ca’ Foscari, University of Venice, (IT), and a Ph.D. from the University of Athens, (GR), in the field of Applied Linguistics. Over the last ten years, she has collaborated with various European research institutions on more than 35 EU projects in the field of Technology-Enhanced Learning, notably LangMOOC, OPENLangNetwork, DC4LT, PASTILLE, FeSTEM, and CARAT. Furthermore, she worked for 3 years as a TEL consultant and project coordinator at the Open Education Europa portal for the Commission's Directorate-General for Education and Culture (DG EAC). She is the author of over 60 articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and books. She is also a member of different European TEL research networks and communities and has also been awarded several international and national scholarships and fellowships for her research.

Dr Prodromidi earned a B.Sc. in Cell & Molecular Biology from the University of Essex, UK. She then continued her graduate studies at Imperial College London, UK, where she obtained a M.Sc. in Immunology and a Ph.D. with a full scholarship in Renal Medicine and Stem Cell Biology. She has worked in research and her scientific work has been presented in conferences world-wide, and has been acknowledged numerous times with international awards, such as the Best New Scientist (2006, UK). She has also published articles in scientific journals and co-authored books. After the completion of her post-graduate studies and since her return in Greece, Dr. Prodromidi has worked both as a research scientist and an educator. To her, teaching means inspiration, creativity, and even challenge to pass on knowledge and ethos to every student. Her teaching experience ranges from middle school students through university students. Recently, she co-authored the book entitled "Revolutionizing K-12 Blended Learning through the i2Flex Classroom Model" contributing to this novel pedagogical approach introduced by ACS Athens.

Evangelos is the Managing Director of QC Analytics PC, an independent compliance consulting company based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Before starting QC Analytics in 2019, Evangelos worked with small and medium-sized enterprises to deliver their medical device products to the market for 8 years.

George is Chief Executive of Active Citizens Partnership (activecitizens.eu). He has a bachelor’s degree in informatics and a Master’s Degree in Distance Learning. Has long experience of working with European funded and transnational projects. Georgios Pappas is an electrical & computer engineer that specializes in Gamification, Serious Game
Development and XR technologies. He is a fully employed professional at the Open University of Cyprus,
as a member of the Lab of Educational Material and Methodology. His experience is of both academic
and industry level, developing tools and games for various purposes including distance education. Over
the years, he had the opportunity to collaborate with smaller teams and create end-products in video
game industry (including a nationwide best-seller title - Greece) and also with larger corporations like
Cisco for advanced B2B integration tools. At academic level, he is associated with various institutions
being an instructor and invited speaker at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at the Deep
Technology Bootcamp 2019 regarding XR & Gamification techniques and an alumnus from the inaugural
MIT Internet of Things Bootcamp. Georgios is a graduate (integrated master’s degree) from National
Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and he is also pursuing a Dual Ph.D. between NTUA and Michigan
State University (MSU) which is the first of its kind between Greece and the US.

Gerasimos Vonitsanos is a Researcher Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics at the University of Patras (CEID). He received his Master of Science Degree from the Department of Informatics at Ionian University. His Μaster thesis entitled " Data Management (and Knowledge Extraction) over Spark " lies in the field of Data Mining. He holds a degree in Education from the School of Educational Sciences, a Master of Business Administration from the School of Social Sciences, and a diploma in Open and Distance Learning from the Hellenic Open University. His research interests span the broad areas of Data Mining, Big Data, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, Educational Technologies, and E-learning. Thanasis Hadzilacos, professor of educational technology at the Open University of Cyprus and adjunct professor at the Cyprus Institute. Studied at Harvard, Stanford and NTU Athens. Grew academically at CTI, CEID and HOU (Patras), CHILI (EPFL) and U. Toronto. Had the privilege of working with and learning from Chr. Papadimitriou, D. Maritsas, P. Spirakis, D. Papaioannou, P. Dillenbourg and A. Lykourgiotis. Contributed to the design and startup of Odyseia, the Greek national project for computers and networks in secondary education. Acknowledges debt to his teachers and foremost to his students for keeping pushing him out of his comfort zone. His latest Μarathon run (4:30’) was in Malaga, Spain, last December, just before the pandemic.

Σπούδασε στο Harvard (1971-1976) και εργάστηκε στη βιομηχανία πριν λάβει το διδακτορικό του από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Πάτρας (1986, βάσεις δεδομένων). Μέχρι το 2007 ήταν ερευνητής στο Ερευνητικό και Ακαδημαϊκό Ινστιτούτο Τεχνολογίας Υπολογιστών, όπου ίδρυσε και διεύθυνε τους τομείς εκπαιδευτικής τεχνολογίας και e-learning και την Ερευνητική Μονάδα «Εφαρμοσμένα Πληροφοριακά Συστήματα». Σχεδίασε και διεύθυνε (1996-2001) το πρόγραμμα «Οδύσσεια» για την αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ στην ελληνική δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση.

Δημοσίευσε πέραν των 100 άρθρων σε διεθνή περιοδικά και συνέδρια. Συμμετείχε και διεύθυνε πέραν των 50 ερευνητικών και αναπτυξιακών έργων με ευρωπαϊκή χρηματοδότηση.

Helen works full-time for the Moodle project as Moodle Community Manager. In addition to helping with moodle.org site administration and improving Moodle Docs, Helen keeps an eye on all the other Moodle community sites and works closely with Moodle developers. Helen also manages Quality Assurance testing prior to major releases and co-facilitates the twice-yearly Learn Moodle Basics MOOC.

Before working for Moodle, Helen taught Mathematics for 13 years to students aged 11-18 and adults.

Η Ιωάννα Κομνηνού είναι Επ. Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Κοινωνικής Θεολογίας και Θρησκειολογίας του ΕΚΠΑ και διδάσκει μαθήματα που αφορούν στα Παιδαγωγικά και στην Ειδική Διδακτική του μαθήματος των Θρησκευτικών. Έχει συγγραφικό έργο και δημοσιεύσεις σε περιοδικά και συνέδρια με αντικείμενο, κυρίως, θέματα που αφορούν στην Εκπαίδευση.

Είμαι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος «Ψηφιακών Συστημάτων» του Πανεπιστημίου του Πειραιά, με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές με τίτλο: «Διδακτική της Τεχνολογίας και Ψηφιακά Συστήματα», έχοντας ακολουθήσει την κατεύθυνση της «Ηλεκτρονικής Μάθησης».
Από το 2014 είμαι Υποψήφιος Διδάκτωρ στο Τμήμα Πληροφορικής και Τηλεπικοινωνιών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (Ε.Κ.Π.Α.), εκπονώντας τη Διδακτορική Διατριβή με θέμα: «Διαδικτυακά Περιβάλλοντα Μάθησης». Αντικείμενο μελέτης και έρευνάς μου αποτελούν οι Κοινότητες Διερεύνησης – ΚΔ (Communities of Inquiry – CoI) και οι μηχανισμοί της παιγνιοποίησης (gamification), καθώς επίσης και ο συνδυασμός τους, με στόχο την ουσιαστικότερη και αποτελεσματικότερη συμμετοχή των εκπαιδευόμενων στη συζήτηση που πραγματοποιείται εντός του πλαισίου ενός τέτοιου εκπαιδευτικού περιβάλλοντος και εν τέλει, την κατάκτηση της γνώσης. Στο πλαίσιο των διδακτορικών μου σπουδών, έχω συμμετάσχει είτε ως εισηγητής, είτε ως σύνεδρος, σε αρκετά Πανελλήνια και Διεθνή Συνέδρια με αντικείμενο την Εξ Αποστάσεως Εκπαίδευση και την Παιγνιώδη Εκπαίδευση στο πλαίσιο Μεικτής Μάθησης.
Έχω εργασθεί στο Ινστιτούτο Τεχνολογίας Υπολογιστών και Εκδόσεων (ΙΤΥΕ) «ΔΙΟΦΑΝΤΟΣ» (http://www.cti.gr/) – Computer Technology Institute and Press (CTI) “Diophantus” για 2 έτη, συμμετέχοντας σε εργασίες μελέτης ψηφιακών αποθετηρίων εκπαιδευτικού υλικού και ανάλυσης περιεχομένου σχετικά με το σχήμα μεταδεδομένων και τα πρωτόκολλα διαλειτουργικότητας. Έχω συμμετάσχει επίσης, στη συγγραφή σχετικού εκπαιδευτικού υλικού για την εκπαίδευση παρόχων περιεχομένου.
Από την 1η Φεβρουαρίου 2018 εργάζομαι στη Μονάδα Προσβασιμότητας Φοιτητών με Αναπηρία (ΦμεΑ) – ΜοΠροΦμεΑ – του Ε.Κ.Π.Α. (https://access.uoa.gr/), με ειδικότητα πτυχιούχου Θετικών Επιστημών με Μεταπτυχιακό Δίπλωμα στα Ψηφιακά Συστήματα.
Έχω παρακολουθήσει διάφορα σεμινάρια τόσο πάνω στο αντικείμενο του Προγραμματισμού, όσο και στο αντικείμενο της Παιδαγωγικής Επιστήμης και της Ειδικής Αγωγής. Μιλάω άριστα την αγγλική, την ισπανική, τη γαλλική και την αραβική γλώσσα.

Dr Ioulia Televantou is a researcher in quantitative social science, with a special interest in the application of advance quantitative techniques in large-scale, empirical driven research, seeking to assess peer effects and contextual influences on cognitive and affective domains in childhood and adolescence. I earned a 1st class honours in Pure Mathematics (University of Cyprus). I then went to Oxford where I completed an MSc in Applied Statistics – a degree with a focus on applications of Statistics using R programming language – and a second MSc in Educational Research Methodology. During my doctorate studies (Oxford University Department of Education, 2009-2014), I worked under the supervision of Herbert W. Marsh (Professor at Australian Catholic University, Emeritus Professor at Australian Catholic University and founder of the International SELF Research Centre). My research has so far received several awards and grants, among others, the 2015 Bruce Choppin Memorial award and the 2017 AERA travel award grant. In addition, it has been published in major scientific journals (SESI, Journal of Educational Psychology, Learning & Instruction) and it has attracted funding from major funding bodies (e.g. the Economic Social Research Council, UK and the Research Promotion Foundation, Cyprus). As well as doing research, I very much enjoy teaching Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods courses to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Education, Psychology, and allied fields. I have extensive experience in teaching Distance Learning – as well as conventional courses.

Currently teaching academic English for Science courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Crete in Greece, Kallia Katsampoxaki-Hodgetts has been interested in critical digital academic literacies honed in current instructional practices. As a Technical Board Coordinator in the European programme “Chain reaction” in 2013-2016 exploring Inquiry Based Learning pedagogical applications, Kallia sought to identify key skills in order for students to succeed in a variety of spoken and written scientific contexts and published three coursebooks on English for Specific Academic Purposes (e.g. Chemistry EAP 1 and Biology EAP 2) for international undergraduate students. Creating inclusive online materials and courses is a new project that she is currently focusing on as a Training of the Trainers (totT) Coordinator at the University of Crete.

Ms. Labrini Rontogiannis was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and moved to Athens in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education, both from McGill University. Ms. Rontogiannis has also received a M.Ed. specializing in Educational Technology through an online program at the University of Calgary.
Ms. Rontogiannis has been teaching for 18 years, 15 of those at ACS Athens. She takes pride in getting involved in all aspects of student life; both in and out of the classroom. She has taught Language Arts and Science in both the Middle School and Academy. She has been teaching both blended and online using the Moodle platform since 2007.
Ms Rontogiannis has also taken part in many professional development opportunities both in Athens and abroad, as well as presented her own work at a number of conferences. In 2014, she presented at the ICALT conference in Athens, and was the recipient of the Best Poster Award. Ms Rontogiannis authored a chapter in the 2016 publication "Revolutionizing K-12 Blended Learning through i2Flex Classroom Model” titled “Flipping and Flexing in Science: Video lessons and the i2Flex Model”. She has also written a number of articles for both ACS Athens school publications Ethos and Lancers Illustrated. On the virtual learning front, she has designed and implemented both the Virtual Health course that she has been teaching since 2014, as well as the eighth grade i2Flex Health course that she both designed and taught. She has also taught online courses through ACS Athens Virtual.

Dr Martin Dougiamas is the founder and CEO of the open-source Moodle software project launched in 1999. He continues to guide and grow the enterprise with the support of 80 employees globally and two major offices in Perth, Australia and Barcelona, Spain.

Moodle LMS (Learning Management System) is Moodle’s best-known product, allowing educators to create a private space online filled with tools for collaborative learning for K-12, higher education and workplaces. First released in 2001, the Moodle LMS is now used in every country around the world by an active community of hundreds of millions of users and is key infrastructure for over 60% of all higher education institutions worldwide.

Moodle LMS is one of a complete suite of open products, including Moodle Apps (for offline and mobile use), MoodleCloud (a SaaS hosting platform with 38,000 Moodle sites), MoodleNet (a new social network for educators), Moodle Educator Certifications (to teach digital competencies), and Moodle Workplace (a special version of Moodle LMS focussed on learning in the workplace).

Martin has a mixed academic background with multiple post-graduate degrees in Computer Science and Education and two honorary doctorates. Prof. Elena C. Papanastasiou, Dean at the University of Nicosia, has received her Ph.D. in Measurement and Quantitative Methods from Michigan State University and an Honors B.Sc. in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Papanastasiou has held academic positions at the University of Kansas, the University of Cyprus as well as the University of Nicosia. She currently serves as the General Assembly representative of Cyprus in the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), while in 2014 she was elected in the Standing Committee of the IEA. In 2018 she was awarded the status of Fellow of the Association of Educational Assessment-Europe, in which she also currently serves as a Council Member.

Το Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) που ανέπτυξε και το οποίο προσφέρεται μέσω του edX (Analytics for the Classroom Teacher) έχει προσελκύσει 18000 συμμετέχοντες από 160 χώρες από τον Οκτώβριο 2016. Από τον Ιανουάριο του 2018, διευθύνει μια διεθνή κοινοπραξία Πανεπιστημίων και Βιομηχανίας (Learn2Analyse) που έχει ως στόχο την προώθηση του Educational Data Literacy για όλους τους επαγγελματίες της Εκπαίδευσης με την υποστήριξη της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής (Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance Program).

Τον Ιούλιο 2012 έλαβε το IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Service Award και τον Ιανουάριο 2013 του απονεμήθηκε ο τίτλος του IEEE Computer Society Golden Core Member σε αναγνώριση της συνεισφοράς του στο πεδίο των ψηφιακών συστημάτων για την μάθηση και εκπαίδευση.

Τον Σεπτέμβριο 2018 έλαβε το ετήσιο βραβείο Golden Nikola Tesla Chain Award 2018 for International Outstanding Achievements in the field of Engineering Pedagogy από τον Διεθνή Οργανισμό International Society of Engineering Pedagogy (IGIP) για την συνεισφορά του στην αξιοποίηση των Ψηφιακών Τεχνολογιών στην Εκπαίδευση Μηχανικών.

Professor Pashiardis is the Rector of the Open University of Cyprus. He has served as Professor of Educational Leadership at the Open University of Cyprus, since 2007. He worked as Visiting Professor in a number of universities in the USA (University of Texas), Europe (Lincoln University, University of Thessaly, University of Münster) and Africa (University of Stellenbosch and University of Pretoria). During 2013-2014 he was a Visiting Professor at the Center of Development of Education Leaders at Umeå University, Sweden. Dr. Pashiardis is a member of the editorial boards and reviewer of numerous scientific journals. He published more than 100 scientific papers in English and Greek peer reviewed scientific journals and is the author of a number of books published in both languages. For more than 20 years, he has acted as a Consultant to the Ministries of Education of Cyprus and Greece, the Police Academy of Cyprus, the EU, the OECD and the Commonwealth Secretariat, in various projects, which aimed to provide strategic direction to Education for All (EFA) and Women in Leadership around the Commonwealth. He was Chairman of the Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management (2004-2008) and Deputy Chairman of the Cyprus Council of the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (2014-2018).

Ο Γιώργος Ρουβάς γεννήθηκε το 1980 στη Θεσσαλονίκη, όπου και ζει μόνιμα. Σπούδασε Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων σε προπτυχιακό επίπεδο και Πληροφοριακά Συστήματα σε μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Sheffield της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζουν στην αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ στην εκπαίδευση, στην εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση και στη μάθηση μέσω παιχνιδιού. Σχετικές εισηγήσεις του έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε συνέδρια και έχουν δημοσιευτεί στα οικεία πρακτικά.

Δραστηριοποιείται επαγγελματικά στον τομέα της εκπαιδευτικής τεχνολογίας από το 2013. Έχει συνεργαστεί με τον Όμιλο Δημιουργικής Γραφής του Πειραματικού Σχολείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, όπου και έχει διδάξει σε σεμιναριακά και εργαστηριακά μαθήματα, με το Παιδαγωγικό Τμήμα Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης του ΑΠΘ, καθώς και με εκπαιδευτικούς φορείς, δημόσιους και ιδιωτικούς, στην οργάνωση και υποστήριξη επιμορφώσεων. Επίσης, έχει συμμετάσχει σε σχετικά με την εκπαίδευση ερευνητικά ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα. I'm a computer science engineer and I have worked as a developer in Moodle HQ since 2017. I've been involved in several interesting projects related to Badges and H5P, among others. Besides, last year I started as an integrator too.

Before that, during almost 14 years I developed some projects for the Ministry of Education of Catalonia, such as Àgora or XTECBlocs (based on open-source projects, such as Moodle or WordPress). I also participated in the development of several Moodle modules, such as JClic, Quaderns Virtuals or GeoGebra, and currently, I'm helping to maintain the Configurable Reports plugin.

My hobbies are orienteering, geocaching and travelling! :D

Serafeim A. Triantafyllou is a Computer Science Teacher. He has worked as a Computer Science Teacher in schools of Secondary Education of Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. He has been awarded a Microsoft in Education Certificate in recognition of membership in the Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator. He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. Serafeim received his BSc in Applied Informatics from the Department of Applied Informatics of University of Macedonia (Greece), an MSc degree in Continuing Education from the Department of Educational and Social Policy of the University of Macedonia (Greece), and a Master Degree of Education in Special Education from the Department of Education of University of Nicosia (Cyprus) and the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education of University of Patras (Greece). He has completed to satisfaction the (400 hours) educational program in intercultural education from the Department of Economics of University of Piraeus. He has completed to satisfaction the 1st EURASIP-GAIPDM Seasonal School on “Learning from Signals, Images, and Video” from the School of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). He holds a certificate of Membership of IEEE Education Society that recognizes him as the Affiliate in good standing, denoting a personal and professional commitment to the advancement of technology.

He has attended IEEE conferences, Lifelong learning conferences and other education conferences. He taught in School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPETE), Annex of Thessaloniki (Greece) for the academic years 2017-2019 and 2022-2023. He has worked as a reviewer for different journals. Serafeim is also a certified trainer for Adults of non-formal education by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance – EOPPEP. He worked as a professor of Computer Science in Public Vocational Training Institutes. Stella Lambis holds a BSc in Computer Science (Loughborough University UK) and an MA in
Educational Technology (University of Cyprus). She currently works at the Open University of
Cyprus in the Lab of Educational Material and Methodology where she is mainly involved in
the design and development of interactive activities, multimedia content, video lectures and
video animations using software such as the Articulate 360 suite, Vyond, Camtasia and
Panopto. Additionally, she focuses on designing and implementing workshops and webinars
for the training and guidance of the academic staff.

Ο Θεόδωρος Τσουράκης είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Πληροφορικής και Τηλεπικοινωνιών του Ε.Κ.Π.Α. και κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού διπλώματος με τίτλο "Προηγμένα Πληροφοριακά Συστήματα" από το ίδιο πανεπιστήμιο. Υπηρετεί ως καθηγητής πληροφορικής στη δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση και τον ενδιαφέρει η χρήση λογισμικού ανοικτού κώδικα στην καθημερινή εκπαιδευτική δραστηριότητα των μαθητών αλλά και στην οργάνωση και λειτουργία του σχολείου.

Η Βίκυ Γεροντοπούλου εργάζεται στο Ίδρυμα Ωνάση από το 2009 ως υπεύθυνη έργων και ψηφιακών προγραμμάτων. Το 2014 ορίστηκε επικεφαλής της Ωνασείου Βιβλιοθήκης (www.onassislibrary.gr). Στο παρελθόν έχει εργαστεί ως σύμβουλος επιχειρήσεων, επιστημονικός σύμβουλος και ως ανεξάρτητη εμπειρογνώμονας σε διάφορες εταιρείες, ερευνητικά κέντρα, ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα, και δημόσιους ερευνητικούς φορείς. Διαθέτει μεγάλη εμπειρία στο σχεδιασμό και διοργάνωση πολιτιστικών εκδηλώσεων καθώς και στην υλοποίηση ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων και ψηφιακών έργων. Ο ετήσιος προγραμματισμός της Ωνασείου Βιβλιοθήκης για τον οποίο είναι υπεύθυνη περιλαμβάνει σε ετήσια βάση πάνω από 70 εκδηλώσεις (εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, κύκλοι διαλέξεων, εκπαιδευτικές επισκέψεις, ξεναγήσεις). Είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Ιστορίας και Φιλοσοφίας Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και κατέχει Μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στην Ιστορία των Επιστημών και της Τεχνολογίας του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στη διαδικασία υποδοχής και διάδοσης των νέων επιστημονικών αντιλήψεων από τους Έλληνες Λογίους του Νεοελληνικού Διαφωτισμού την εποχή του18ου και 19ου αιώνα.

Ο Γιώργος Πατσέας είναι μηχανικός λογισμικού (enneas.gr) με μεγάλη εμπειρία στη δημιουργία καινοτόμων εφαρμογών για μεγάλους οργανισμούς, όπως η COSMOTE, ο ΟΠΑΠ και εκπαιδευτικοί και ακαδημαϊκοί φορείς. Με την ομάδα του έχουν δημιουργήσει ψηφιακά εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα και εφαρμογές για ποικίλες περιπτώσεις, εστιάζοντας στην διαδραστικότητα και στην ευκολία χρήσης, ως μέρος του ψηφιακού εκσυγχρονισμού. Η ομάδα έχει λάβει πολλές διακρίσεις, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του Golden Bite Award 2020 στην κατηγορία "Νέα Καινοτόμο Προϊόν / Υπηρεσία" για την " 360° Διαδραστική Εκπαίδευση για την Coca Cola Hellas". Είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου (ΕΜΠ).

Ονομάζομαι Αλεξάνδρα Μαυρίδου. Ζω και εργάζομαι στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Σπούδασα Φιλολογία στο ΑΠΘ, Ευρωπαϊκό Πολιτισμό στο ΕΑΠ και Δημιουργική Γραφή στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Δημιουργικής Γραφής του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Από το 2015 εκπονώ τη διδακτορική μου διατριβή στο Παιδαγωγικό Tμήμα Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης του ΑΠΘ. Η έρευνά μου βρίσκεται σε εξέλιξη.
Τα επιστημονικά και ερευνητικά μου ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στη διδακτική και αξιολόγηση της Νεοελληνικής Λογοτεχνίας, στη Δημιουργική Γραφή, στην αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ και της Δημιουργικής Γραφής στη διδακτική των φιλολογικών μαθημάτων και στην εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση. Εισηγήσεις μου σε συνέδρια για τα ανωτέρω θέματα έχουν δημοσιευτεί στα οικεία πρακτικά.
Έχω ολοκληρώσει επιμορφώσεις που αφορούν τις Νέες Τεχνολογίες και έχω πιστοποιηθεί στο Β' Επίπεδο. Έχω διατελέσει επιμορφώτρια στις ΤΠΕ στα seminars etwinning από το 2017 έως το 2020, ενώ φέτος είμαι στα ίδια σεμινάρια συντονίστρια επιμορφωτών, καθώς και μέλος της ομάδας επικαιροποίησης του ψηφιακού υλικού.
Από το 2005 εργάζομαι στη μέση εκπαίδευση ως φιλόλογος και από το 2013 υπηρετώ στο Πειραματικό Σχολείο του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Είμαι η εν ενεργεία Υποδιευθύντρια του Πειραματικού Σχολείου του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης από τον Δεκέμβριο του 2018 και το σχολικό έτος 2019-20 αποτέλεσα μέλος της ομάδας υποστήριξης σύγχρονης τηλεκπαίδευσης του σχολείου.

Ο Μιχάλης Επιφανίου είναι κάτοχος πτυχίου και μεταπτυχιακού στην Επιστήμη της
Πληροφορικής. Από το 2007 εργάζεται στο Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου με κύρια ευθύνη
τον σχεδιασμό, ανάπτυξη και υποστήριξη των υπηρεσιών τηλεκπαίδευσης και των
υπηρεσιών ανάπτυξης και διαχείρισης ψηφιακού περιεχομένου. Υπεύθυνος για την
ανάπτυξη και υποστήριξη των πληροφοριακών συστημάτων της Βιβλιοθήκης καθώς και για
τον σχεδιασμό και την υλοποίηση άλλων έργων πληροφορικής.
Είναι κάτοχος του MCCC (Moodle Course Creator Certificate) και MEC (Moodle Educator
Certification).

Συντονιστής σε 10άδες προγράμματα επιμόρφωσης με θέμα την «Αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ στην εκπαίδευση», στα οποία έχει συγγράψει το υλικό. Επιμορφωτής με θέμα την χρήση και αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ.
Μέλος της ΕΥΥ eTwinning και συντονιστής της Ομάδας Εργασίας για τις Ανοιχτές Τεχνολογίες στην Εκπαίδευση της ΕΕΛΛΑΚ.

Ο Πέτρος Χριστοφόρου είναι απόφοιτος του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου (Πτυχίο
Πληροφορικής) και του Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου (Μεταπτυχιακός Τίτλος Σπουδών
στις Επιστήμες της Αγωγής - Συνεχιζόμενη Εκπαίδευση). Τα τελευταία 17 χρόνια έχει
συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε έργα εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευσης, ενώ τα τελευταία 12 χρόνια ως
Λειτουργός Πληροφορικής, μαζί με τα υπόλοιπα μέλη του Τομέα Τηλεκπαίδευσης και
Διαχείρισης Ψηφιακού Περιεχομένου, έχει την ευθύνη για τη διαχείριση, συντήρηση και
ανάπτυξη της Πλατφόρμας Τηλεκπαίδευσης eClass στην οποία διεξάγεται η εξ αποστάσεως
εκπαίδευση στο Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Είναι κάτοχος του MCCC (Moodle Course
Creator Certificate) και MEC (Moodle Educator Certification).
