Green Club: Inspiring the next generation to engage with circular futures
2022-09-24, 15:00–16:30 (Europe/Athens), Αίθουσα Εργαστηρίων 1- Κτίριο Πολυμέσων

As part of their S+T+ARTS residency hosted by Onassis Stegi, Unit Lab is exploring how circular economy can be introduced in the Greek school curriculum. During a pilot after-school Green Club in May, designers and experts ran 6 different workshops spanning multiple sustainability subjects. Through hands-on practical workshops, students explored circular futures in their own context making wind turbines, environmental data sensors, upcycled objects and shelters for animals. In this workshop Unit Lab will introduce our new website, Green Club; a platform for educators and students with workshops and learning resources related to circular economy. During the session, participants will see the first public version of the platform, take part in two hands-on taster workshops, and join in a round-table discussion about sustainability and circularity in education.
