DESCRIPTION:Mobile devices have many functionalities and there is a great s
 et of apps to write digital content for any subject taught at all the educ
 ational levels.  The combination of the readily available devices and the 
 accompanied software makes mobile devices a very promising and versatile e
 ducational technology.  Their integration in the teaching practice althoug
 h desirable it lags the expectations.  There are many barriers that hinder
   their wide application.  To enumerate some we can say that a methodology
  which will be supported by research is lacking\, the apps are changing co
 nstantly\, existing apps offer limited functionality for free and a paid s
 cheme must be invoked and the require a redefinition of education.
